Local Rescues and Foundations will have tables filled with one-of-a-kind crafts and the perfect gifts for your holiday! There will also be a cash bar, a bake sale, photos with Santa and much more! Admission is free.

Working Bikes 17th Anniversary Fundraiser
Working Bikes is turning 17 this year! Join us in celebrating our birthday on Tuesday, October 25th from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Lagunitas Taproom. There'll be food, music, and libations!
Working Bikes is a nonprofit organization dedicated to recycling previously owned bikes and using them as a vehicle for empowerment in global and local communities. Since 1999, we've donated over 50,000 bikes to people in Africa, Latin America, and Chicago. The bikes we provide can be life-changing for those who need it the most by improving their mobility and access to education, employment, healthcare, and other basic necessities.
Admission is $35, which includes food and entertainment. There'll be a silent auction and raffle. Drinks will be sold for $5 each at Lagunitas Taproom. You must be 21 or older to attend.
100% of the proceeds from the event will go towards supporting Working Bikes global and local donation programs.
Food will be provided by Sinha Elegant Brazilian Cuisine, Ignotz Ristorante, Chicago Diner, and the Original Rainbow Cone.

On Thursday, September 29th, Safe Humane honors 17 Chicago Police Department officers who are essentially the first in the chain of collaborative justice that makes Chicago safer and more humane. Working with the community, these officers bring dozens of abusers to justice and help ensure that hundreds of animals get a good life in good homes with compassionate people – for the rest of their lives. Patrol, SWAT and Animal Crimes Team (ACT) officers will be showcased for nine specific cases involving dog fighting and other animal abuse, domestic violence, severe neglect, even murder. Hear about them, and meet a few of the more than 800 animals rescued by these officers.
